Second... Yes - blood donation is pretty much safe, it does not hurt and it is not horrible - you can put all your fears (of needles, of hygiene, ...) aside. Of course, this is valid only in the case you visit a specialized transfusion department and you must be a healthy person who is eligible as a donor - please make sure you are.

Please, make 100% sure you are eligible for blood donation before joining us - we wouldn't like this event to be a disappointment for you.
Generally, there are limitation for the guys who came from abroad and are not yet the citizens of the country.
Usually, the answer to this question depends on the type of the insurance you have. Please, check with your insurance company if the free blood donation is covered by your insurance for you in your specific case. This is the only way to make sure you will not be disappointed after you join us...
